Wer dieses Buch nur durchblättert, hat sich ihm nicht gestellt, man muss es wirklich fressen, um es zu verdauen.

But instead of turning it into an airy cloud of pretty associations, this book virtually chops up its material. The images run wild across the double pages, they repeat themselves, they anticipate and then refer back: a challenging, an ardous syntax. »There is Something in the Air« excites me because it ads to its genre a bold, fresh form of speech. Those who only flick through this book haven¹t taken up its challenge; it needs to be ingested, to be digested.
